Grass and Crop Protection:

I have weeds in my yard, can you help me identify them and recommend a way to remove them?
We are happy to help you identify your weeds in any area whether in the back yard or on your pastures.  When bringing in the plant specimen, please supply the root, stalk, flower and seed if available.

What is the difference between Noxious Weeds and Common Weeds?
Noxious weeds are weeds which will contaminate the soil.  Common weeds are important but not vital to eliminate.

What is the difference between a pesticide and a herbicide?
A pesticide is the complete array of compounds used to control any invading species, including plants, rodents, insects and many other categories.  It can best be described as being the umbrella in which the rest of these terms fall under.  A herbicide falls under this umbrella and  is a compound used to control plant species like those of noxious weeds.
